Fenced In - Good Fences 41

I've dug out some more fences from my archives this week.

If you look closely you may be able to see someone sitting, fenced in, on the veranda.

You don't need iron bars to create a 'prison'.

All three dogs have crossed the Rainbow Bridge since this photo was taken, so hopefully they no longer feel fenced in.

The local prison that I pass most days of the week has an iron fence alongside the road. Sometimes it can look quite attractive when the road has been wet.

Prison Fence, Kirklevington
Icicles
So far this winter there has been no snow so all you can see is the plain iron fence.

Oh such sweet dear pups, I trust their new journey is of greatness and freedom. I certainly like your path for a walk, just look at that winter beauty/ That fence is amazing to see. In your first photo I saw the person right away, nice capture of it all.

great photos - from the fence sitters, to doggie prison to nature's accents. :)

There is a long - mile or more - this iron decorative posts along the edge of the Berrington family estate, beyond are fields, cattle and oak trees and of course the stately home. The fence must have survived the wars, when metal was needed for the war effort!

Not much of a fence for a prison. Hope it is low security.

Reminds me of Robert Frost's poem, Mending Wall - "fences make good neighbors," or do they!
Loved your photos!
